Phoenix then faced Ashby another team who had beaten all the others. A tight and exciting game characterised by sheer determination by all ended with Phoenix scoring four tries and Ashby two. Phoenix were through to the final.

Warriors fought hard over their four matches against some strong opposition. Some inventive well worked moves and sound tackling were not enough to get them over the try line in the first two games but by the third it all came together. A close fourth game against Wymondham finished their pool games but unfortunately without the results to see them through any further.

The final was played between Phoenix and the Pool B winners Silhillians. Another close fought match but unfortunately one they didnt win, with Silhillians scoring 4 and Phoenix 2.
