Market Harborough Under 9 Hares and Warriors venture to the home of Shakespeare to face new opposition.

Warriors
Squad: Ciaran, Charlie, Dan, George, Fergus, Mateusz, Jonah, Matthew, Thomas, Ben & Edward

Warriors opened up with a game against the hosts. The omens looked good in the early exchanges as Warriors got the upper hand and turned around 3-2 in front. The second half however was a different affair and Stratford scored some good long range support tries to emerge victorious 7-3.

With a colour clash in the second game against Birmingham & Solihull Bees, Warriors opted to reverse their shirts and play in white. This did not prove to be a lucky move as the Warriors went down 1-6.

Third on the agenda was Worcester A. Warriors started well and worked their way into a 3-0 lead by half time. Worcester rallied in the second half and scored with the final play of the game to equalise and draw the match at 4-4.

The final pool game was against Kings Norton and the Warriors steady improvement over the morning suddenly went into overdrive and no mercy was shown to King Norton. Warriors romped home 9-0.

With the Warriors finishing third in their pool a final game against Worcester B who finished third in their pool rounded the long day off. The momentum from the Kings Norton game was in evidence and Warriors ran out comfortable 7-2 winners.
