With the squads mixing due to some players representing the U10's in the County Cup (see separate report) we made up 3 sides to face R&H

Conditions played a big part in the rugby on display with the ball hard to keep a hold off and the conditions under foot not allowing for running rugby.

The sides maybe lacked a little cohesion at the start as they got used to new players around them but as the morning went on they became familiar with each other and put together some good passages of play. The similarity in shirts made it difficult to tell who was who in the later stages as it become a little muddy and the players dealt with this well remaining onside and entering rucks and mauls correctly which was great to see as they kept their discipline.

Overall R&H won 3 out of the 4 games with some good rugby. All of the players did well and this will help them develop as they get used to all the variables which come in to "how" a game is played. Lots of cold and wet kids left the field but all had a smile of their faces.....not sure whoever washes their kit would have had a similar smile!

Next Sunday we will continue to work on developing those core skills to create scoring opportunities as well as working on defence to stop other sides getting passed us!
